Renovate your existing Aga range cooker

We can make your Aga range cooker good as new.

We are able to either totally dismantle and renovate your existing Aga or just do parts as required, all at a fraction of the cost of a new cooker. It is surprising what a difference having the top plate and lids or your Aga re-enameled makes when you are changing your kitchen, and it is also quite a simple operation.

Our reconditioning service includes:

• dismantling the existing cooker on site
• replacement of internal parts and seals
• new top plates and lids
• re-enamelling of the main body (off site)
• reassembly on site
• site tidy

For the past 26 years now we have specialized in the servicing and renovation of Aga Cookers. We have installed these wonderful appliances throughout Cornwall, Devon and even in France.

To fill in any “quiet times” we started Aga renovations. In the early days when time was at a premium and I couldn’t waste a day out of the county for fear of a client emergency, I used to load up my Volkswagen camper on a Sunday afternoon with Aga castings and travel up to London over night to be waiting at the gates of the enamellers by 8.am Monday morning. With some luck I could be back in Cornwall by early afternoon to answer any emergency breakdowns. And two weeks later was ready for another trip to collect and deliver more. Of course things are not like that now as we have a regular collection and delivery operated by the current enamellers.

The picture shows one of our reconditioned Aga cookers in cream on display in our showroom. The front and tops are re-enamelled and fitted with all new chrome tops and lid liners. The doors have new liners and the inside of the ovens shot blasted clean. With new insulation, burner parts and a new boiler (if hot water is required) it is hard to tell the difference from a new cooker.

We offer a full installation AND preliminary works service. Unlike most Aga agents we are able to offer the FULL service to include plumbing, chimney work and oil and gas installation. “One company, one job”. We feel this is better for our clients’ peace of mind.

We sell and install a number of reconditioned Aga and Rayburns ranges. Our reconditioned range cookers come to you looking good as new in the colour of your choice and on the fuel that you require.

We offer a full re-conditioned range cooker service including supply and installation to the ongoing annual servicing.
