Stove Installations

The installation of stoves is dependent on the fuel source to some degree, with electric stoves being the easiest and cheapest. For all other fuels a chimney is required, either using an existing chimney, installing a factory made chimney or in the case of a gas stove, the possibility is to go straight through the wall with a balanced flue (see our blog). There are strict regulations governing these installations.

The Heat Store are able to offer a complete service for North and Central Cornwall from our Wadebridge showroom.

We do realize that choosing the most suitable appliance, or simply finding out whether a stove can be fitted in your home can be confusing. To help you choose, our showroom staff is able to talk you through most of the issues and give you a fairly accurate estimate of cost.

Site Surveys

However if you prefer a preliminary site suitability visit, we operate our popular on site survey to discuss the various options. There is no obligation to buy, and we promise that a knowledgeable fitter and not a pushy sales-person will call. We make a nominal charge for this service of £25 including VAT which, of course, is refundable against a future stove purchase and installation. Our engineers and fitters are all experienced local people and you can be sure they will be polite, courteous and respectful of you and your home.
