Historically the sale of reconditioned Aga Cookers has been a main part of the business. Since 1980 when we started selling second hand Aga Cookers it was soon found that the demand for good a quality reconditioned and fully re enameled product was more desirable. We found that our clients were more interested in a good value product produced to a high quality and sold at a considerable saving over new. All our reconditioned models offer a quality re enamel finish with a choice of colours. The ovens are shot blast clean and the door liners are renewed. Replacement chrome lids where appropriate with new liners and rope seals. And most important of all the working bits such as the oil or gas burner is replaced with new.
The cost of a reconditioned Aga is from £4250 which includes delivery and build and VAT.
We are also able to offer ancillary works associated with the installation such as plumbing, oil installation and chimney lining. Our CORGI and OFTEC registration enable us to self certify our work for building regulation approval.
Have your own existing Aga fully renovated
Yes we can undertake this work as well. It is surprising how well a re-enameled top plate and lid re furbish will improve most Aga Cookers. Or, we can dismantle the entire cooker and take it away to give it a facelift and perhaps a colour change.
The top plate renovation is available for most Aga cookers but the full dismantle and renovate work can only be carried out on cookers later than cc.1974 due to the powder packing used in earlier cookers. For earlier models you can bring the bare castings to us and we would be pleased to carry out the work and return to rebuild your Aga using new packing.
(please note some of the earlier cookers had asbestos sealing ropes used inside the cooker which would be disturbed during dismantling)
